World Scan Project Opens STAR WALKERS Flying Car Pre-orders

World Scan Project, Inc. announced its subsidiary, World Scan Project Corporation (WSP Japan), commenced pre-orders for STAR WALKERS, its next-generation air mobility vehicle, on October 16, 2025.

The STAR WALKERS is described as a revolutionary flying sports car that features intuitive operation, cutting-edge safety, and advanced design. It is a compact, van-sized, single-passenger, all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle. Key safety features include advanced sensors, GPS for flight stability, obstacle avoidance, and automatic landing systems. The vehicle, priced at approximately $160,000 (excluding tax), is accepting pre-orders through its official product website, with estimated deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027.

World Scan Project CEO Ryohei Uetaki presented the STAR WALKERS prototype, highlighting WSP's technological background, the vehicle's concept, and the company's vision for making air travel more accessible and personal. The company emphasized STAR WALKERS' rapid charging for extended flight time, remarkable quietness, lightweight design, and zero-emission electric propulsion system. Specifications include a maximum takeoff weight of 246 kg, a maximum speed of 50 to 60 km/h, a range of approximately 10 to 14 km, and a flight time of 8 to 16 minutes.

The company noted that the prototype is for display purposes only and that actual commercial products may differ, and delivery dates are subject to change based on various factors including regulatory approvals and order volume.
