Azerbaijan Interest Rate
Azerbaijan's key interest rate held steady at 7% in October 2025, matching the 7% rate from September 2025. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan maintained this rate due to stable inflation which was 5.7% in September 2025, close to its target. A foreign trade surplus of $1.8 billion in the first nine months of 2025 and a stable foreign exchange market also supported this monetary policy. These factors allowed the bank to keep borrowing costs stable while ensuring financial stability and economic growth. Azerbaijan's record low interest rate was 3% in September 2015 and record high was 15% in September 2016.
