Belarus's interest rate remained at 9.75% in August 2025, unchanged from July 2025. The National Bank of Belarus maintained this refinancing rate in August, citing rising inflation. The bank stated the rate was appropriate and would not be increased further, supporting stability through July and August. Annual inflation eased to 7.2% in August from 7.4% in July. Belarus's record low interest rate was 7.75% in June 2020 and record high was 25% in September 2015.
