Wheat

Wheat fell by 0.22% on Friday October 24, trading at $5.1 per bushel with a weekly gain of 1.41% and monthly loss of 1.47%. The International Grains Council increased its 2025/26 global wheat production forecast to a record 827 million tonnes. This upward revision is driven by upgraded outlooks for Russia, the United States and Argentina, contributing to higher anticipated global supply. Russia's wheat production is now projected at 86.5 million tonnes due to strong Siberian yields. Global wheat consumption forecasts also saw a modest rise. These factors combined are expected to lead to an anticipated build-up in wheat stocks to a three-year high. Its 52-week high was $6.2 per bushel, while its 52-week low was $4.9 per bushel.
