Portugal's exports to Nigeria fell to $42.12 million in 2024, down from $51.06 million in 2023, according to the UN Comtrade Database. This represents a decrease of 17.5% ($8.94 million) from the previous year. Top exports from Portugal to Nigeria were Milling products, malt, starch, inulin, wheat ($8.43 million), Articles of iron or steel ($4.38 million), Machinery, mechanical appliances and reactors ($3.93 million).

Portugal had a trade deficit with Nigeria that narrowed to $1.18 billion in 2024 from $1.41 billion in 2023. This is a decrease of 16.4% ($230.04 million).
