Singapore Exports to Japan

Singapore's exports to Japan fell to $19.35 billion in 2023, down from $20.79 billion in 2022, according to the UN Comtrade Database. This represents a decrease of 7% ($1.45 billion) from the previous year. Top exports from Singapore to Japan were Electrical machinery and equipment ($5.65 billion), Machinery, mechanical appliances, reactors ($4.70 billion), Optical, medical and measuring instruments ($1.86 billion).

Singapore had a trade deficit with Japan that narrowed to $1.85 billion in 2023 from $5.92 billion in 2022. This is a decrease of 68.8% ($4.08 billion).
