Singapore's exports to Malaysia fell to $44.45 billion in 2023, down from $51.59 billion in 2022, according to the UN Comtrade Database. This represents a decrease of 13.8% ($7.13 billion) from the previous year. Top exports from Singapore to Malaysia were Electrical machinery and equipment ($15.21 billion), Mineral fuels, oils, waxes, bitumen ($11.57 billion), Machinery, mechanical appliances and reactors ($5.56 billion).

Singapore had a trade deficit with Malaysia that narrowed to $3.15 billion in 2023 from $7.82 billion in 2022. This is a decrease of 59.7% ($4.66 billion).
