Iceland Unemployment Rate
Iceland's unemployment rate fell to 3.7% in September 2025, down from 5.7% in August 2025. This marks the lowest rate in three months. The decrease is due to ongoing growth in the technology sector and strong performance in the seafood industry. Iceland's record low unemployment rate was 1.6% in December 2018 and its record high was 9% in April 2021.
