Saudi Arabia's imports from Malta fell to $43.47 million in 2024, down from $50.35 million in 2023, according to the UN Comtrade Database. This represents a decrease of 13.7% ($6.88 million) from the previous year. Top imports for Saudi Arabia from Malta were Miscellaneous edible preparations ($19.55 million), Cereal, flour, starch, milk preparations, bakery ($9.76 million), Mineral fuels, oils, waxes and bitumen ($8.32 million).

Saudi Arabia had a trade deficit with Malta that narrowed to $15.25 million in 2024 from $29.55 million in 2023. This is a decrease of 48.4% ($14.31 million).
