Spain Imports from Libya

Spain's imports from Libya fell to $2.55 billion in 2024, down from $3.08 billion in 2023, according to the UN Comtrade Database. This represents a decrease of 17.4% ($537.29 million) from the previous year. Top imports for Spain from Libya were Mineral fuels, oils, waxes, bitumen ($2.49 billion), Iron and steel ($30.55 million), Inorganic chemicals, precious metal compounds and isotopes ($12.78 million).

Spain had a trade deficit with Libya that narrowed to $2.2 billion in 2024 from $2.76 billion in 2023. This is a decrease of 20.5% ($565.91 million).
