Iran Inflation Rate MoM
Iran's Month-over-Month inflation rate increased to 3.8% in September 2025. This is the highest rate in four months, up from 2.9% in August 2025. The rise was driven by a 5.2% increase in food, beverages and tobacco prices. Increased political and economic uncertainties also contributed to the trend. Iran's record low Month-over-Month inflation was -0.36% in July 2015 and record high was 10.6% in June 2022.

Iran's inflation rate mom shows the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from the prior month. It's calculated by dividing the difference between this month's CPI and last month's CPI by last month's CPI, then multiplying by 100. Food and housing costs are key components.
