Kyrgyzstan's unemployment rate hit a record low of 1.5% in August 2025. This rate decreased from 1.6% in July 2025. The country's GDP grew by 10% year-on-year from January to September 2025. Growth was driven by construction, industry, trade and mining. Increased investment and strong domestic demand also boosted employment. The number of registered unemployed persons fell by 12,800 year-on-year by August 2025. Kyrgyzstan's record low unemployment rate was 1.5% in August 2025 and record high was 3.3% in June 2019.
