Paraguay Consumer Confidence
Paraguay's consumer confidence fell by 1.7% to 49.86 points in September 2025, down from 50.73 points in August 2025. This decline is attributed to ongoing inflation, especially for food and a rise in core inflation. The Central Bank expects economic growth from services and construction, maintaining a stable policy rate. However, global slowdown fears and climate risks affect consumer sentiment. Generating more jobs and strengthening resilience to extreme weather are also key challenges. Paraguay's record low consumer confidence was 37.8 points in April 2020 and record high was 65.9 points in January 2019.
