Rwanda Travel Earnings

Rwanda's travel earnings fell to $212 million in 2020, down from $635.9 million in 2019, according to World Bank. This represents a decrease of 66.7% ($423.9 million) from the previous year. Rwanda has travel earnings lower than the global median ($212.00 million vs median $677.50 million). Compared with the median in Africa, Rwanda is higher ($212.00 million vs regional median $195.15 million) and ranks 19th out of 42 countries in Africa.

Rwanda's visitor arrivals fell to 1.63 million in 2019, down from 1.71 million in 2018.
