Senegal Unemployment Rate : Definition
The Senegal unemployment rate measures the portion of the labor force seeking work but without a job. It is calculated by dividing the number of unemployed individuals by the total labor force (employed plus unemployed) and multiplying by 100. The National Statistics and Demography Agency compiles this figure.
