Thailand Personal Spending
Thailand's personal spending showed 0% growth in August 2025, the highest in three months. This follows a 0.2% decrease in July 2025. Real farmer income dropped by 10.8% year-on-year. Consumer confidence fell to 50.1 from 51.7 in July. Spending on durable goods also slowed, indicated by lower vehicle registrations. Thailand's record low personal spending was -9.6% in April 2020 and record high was 6.6% in May 2020.

Thailand Month-over-Month personal spending tracks the change in Thai household consumption expenditure from one month to the next. The Bank of Thailand calculates this by comparing the total value of goods and services purchased by consumers in the current month against the previous month, expressed as a percentage change.
