United Arab Emirates Interest Rate

The United Arab Emirates' interest rate fell to 4.15% in September 2025. This is down from 4.4% in July 2025. The UAE Central Bank lowered its rate to match the US Federal Reserve's 25 basis point reduction. This action preserves the dirham's peg to the US dollar. The UAE's base rate follows the Federal Reserve's rate. Inflation in the UAE was 1.4% in the first quarter of 2025. It is expected to reach 1.9% for the full year. Economic growth in the UAE is projected at 4.7% for 2025. United Arab Emirates' record low interest rate was 0.15% in July 2021 and record high was 5.4% in July 2023.
