Austria Inflation Rate : Definition
Austria's inflation rate reflects the general increase in prices for goods and services. It is calculated using the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), tracking price changes in a weighted basket of consumer goods and services representative of Austrian households. The HICP ensures EU-wide comparability.
