European Union - Industry Confidence
European Union industry confidence rose to -10.3 points in September 2025. This is a four-month high and a 2.8% increase from August's -10.6 points. The improvement coincides with the Eurozone Composite Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) reaching 51.2 in September 2025, its highest level in 16 months. This indicates an expansion in economic activity. The Eurozone Economic Sentiment Indicator also increased to 95.5 in September 2025. European Union's record low industry confidence was -36.2 points in April 2020 and record high was 13.1 points in December 2021.
