Kuwait Interest Rate

Kuwait's interest rate decreased by 0.25% from 4% in July 2025 to 3.75% in September 2025. This move followed a 25 basis point rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve. Easing domestic inflation also influenced the Central Bank of Kuwait's decision. The adjustment supports Kuwait's goals of macroeconomic stability and sustainable economic growth. Kuwait's record low interest rate was 1.5% in March 2020 and its record high was 4.25% in July 2023.
