Year-over-year, confidence is up significantly, changing by 152.3% from -4.4 points in September 2024. The stable labour market, indicated by an unemployment rate of 2.9% in August 2025, supports this positive trend. Malta's record low consumer confidence was -23 points in April 2020 and record high was 16.1 points in February 2018.
