Mauritius Inflation Rate
Mauritius's annual inflation rate decreased to 4.4% in September 2025 from 4.8% in August 2025. This is the lowest rate in four months. The slowdown was driven by lower price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages which fell from 2.8% to 1.1%. Transport prices also eased slightly. These changes indicate moderating price pressures. Mauritius's record low inflation rate was -1.4% in March 2019 and record high was 12.2% in December 2022.
