Morocco Inflation Rate
Morocco's inflation rate rose to 0.4% in September 2025 from 0.3% in August 2025. This increase was driven by higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, up from 0.2% to 0.4% and furnishings, up from 0.6% to 0.8%. Core inflation, however, decreased to 0.3% in September from 0.7% in August. Bank Al-Maghrib forecasts 2025 average inflation at 1% and kept its key interest rate at 2.25% due to moderate inflation levels. Morocco's record low inflation rate was -0.7% in June 2020 and record high was 10.1% in February 2023.
