North Macedonia Unemployment Rate

North Macedonia's unemployment rate fell to an all-time low of 11.5% in Q2 2025. This is down from 11.7% in Q1 2025. Economic growth accelerated to 3.2% in the first semester of 2025. This growth was driven by domestic demand and activity in services and construction. Government support measures also aided the labor market. The number of unemployed persons decreased to 91,377 in Q2 2025. Employment increased and the labor force participation rate rose to 52.2%. North Macedonia's record low unemployment rate was 11.5% in Q2 2025 and record high was 25.5% in Q3 2015.
