Palestinian Territories Unemployment Rate

The Palestinian Territories unemployment rate fell to 28.6% in Q2 2025 from 30.2% in Q1 2025. This is the lowest rate since Q3 2023. The decrease occurred because employment in the West Bank increased by 4% in Q2, driven by construction and services. Employment of Palestinians in Israel also rose slightly to 40,000 workers. The West Bank labor force participation rate also increased. Palestinian Territories' record low unemployment rate was 23% in Q4 2022 and record high was 35.2% in Q1 2024.
