Saudi Arabia's wholesale price change was stable at 2.1% in September 2025, matching the 2.1% increase in August 2025. This stability is due to price increases in food products, beverages, tobacco and textiles which rose to 0.4% in August from 0.3% in July. Other transportable goods, excluding metal products, machinery and equipment, also rose to 4.2% in August from 4.1% in July. Agriculture and fishery product costs were unchanged at 4.4%. Metal products, machinery and equipment prices were stable. Wholesale prices increased by 0.2% month-over-month in August, recovering from a 0.1% decline in the prior two months. Saudi Arabia's record low wholesale price change was -5.36% in September 2009 and record high was 19.7% in June 2021.
