Uganda Exports
Uganda's exports in August 2025 were $1.06 billion. This is a 15.4% decrease from July 2025's $1.25 billion. The decline is due to lower coffee export earnings, down 8.2% year-over-year, driven by weaker global prices. Robusta coffee earnings were affected by prior price drops while Arabica exports increased in value. A new policy banning unprocessed mineral exports took effect mid-August 2025 to encourage domestic value addition. Uganda's record low exports were $183.4 million in October 2015 and record high was $1.25 billion in July 2025.
