China Housing Starts

China's housing starts reached 45,399 Tens of Thousands Square Metre in September 2025. This figure is the highest since December 2024. Housing starts increased by 14.1% from August 2025, when they were 39,801 Tens of Thousands Square Metre. China's record low housing starts was 6,613.94 Tens of Thousands Square Metre in February 2025 and record high was 227,153.6 Tens of Thousands Square Metre in December 2019.
