This improvement is driven by better consumer outlooks on the economy and personal finances. Lower inflation, expected at 2.2% year-on-year for 2025 and strong real wage growth support this trend. Czech Republic's record low consumer confidence was 73.1 points in October 2022 and record high was 119.5 points in March 2018.

Czech Republic consumer confidence measures household optimism about their financial situation and the national economy. The Czech Statistical Office calculates it from survey responses concerning expected changes in personal finances, the general economic climate and intentions to save. Index values above 100 suggest increased confidence while values below 100 indicate decreased confidence.
