Czech Republic Imports
Czech Republic imports fell by 9.1% to 342.16 CZK billion in August 2025 from 376.53 CZK billion in July 2025. This marks the lowest import level since December 2024. The decline results from increased US tariffs on EU trade which reduced overall economic activity and demand. Consumer pessimism earlier in 2025 also slowed private consumption growth, further softening demand for imported goods. Czech Republic's record low imports was 211.34 CZK billion in April 2020 and record high was 440.78 CZK billion in November 2022.
