This rise was driven by a significant increase in income expectations which rose to 15.1 points from 4.1 points. However, economic expectations fell to -1.4 points and willingness to buy weakened to -11.6 points. Propensity to save increased. Germany's record low GfK Consumer Climate was -42.8 points in October 2022 and record high was 11 points in February 2018.
