Italy Services PMI

Italy's Services PMI increased to 52.5 in September 2025 from 51.5 in August 2025, marking a 1.9% rise and the highest level in four months. This growth was fueled by a significant expansion in new orders, the fastest in 17 months, driven by better customer demand and increased service interest. Business confidence improved with firms expecting continued order growth and service expansion, partly due to the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics. Although service sector employment growth slowed, companies reduced backlogs. Italy's record low Services PMI was 46.4 in October 2022 and record high was 57.6 in April 2023.
