Nigeria Corruption Control

Nigeria's corruption control fell to -1.04 points in 2023, down from -1.13 points in 2022, according to World Bank. This represents a decrease of 8% (0.09) from the previous year. Nigeria has corruption control lower than the global median (-1.04 points vs median -0.23 points). Compared with the median in Africa, Nigeria is lower (-1.04 points vs regional median -0.74 points) and ranks 39th out of 54 countries in Africa.

Nigeria's political stability index fell to -1.77 points in 2023, down from -1.78 points in 2022.
