Qatar Inflation Rate
Qatar's inflation rate increased to 1.15% in September 2025. This is the highest rate since August 2024. In August 2025, the inflation rate was 0.73%. The September increase was driven by higher prices for Miscellaneous Goods and Services, Clothing and Footwear, Education, Recreation and Culture and Food and Beverages. In August 2024, inflation was also 1.15%, driven by Recreation and Culture and Miscellaneous Goods and Services. Qatar's record low inflation was -4.05% in August 2020 and record high was 6.47% in December 2021.

Qatar's inflation rate measures the year-over-year percentage change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), released by the Planning and Statistics Authority. The CPI basket is weighted toward housing and utilities, food and non-alcoholic beverages, transport, and recreation.
