Qatar Physicians per 1,000 people

Qatar's physicians per 1,000 people fell to 2.5 per 1,000 in 2018, down from 2.76 per 1,000 in 2016, according to World Bank. This represents a decrease of 0.26 from the previous year. Qatar has physicians per 1,000 people higher than the global median (2.50 vs median 1.82). Compared with the median in Asia, Qatar is higher (2.50 vs regional median 2.15) and ranks 17th out of 42 countries in Asia.
