Uzbekistan's business confidence rose to 57 points in September 2025, the highest in three months, an increase of 3.6% from 55 points in August 2025. Stronger current business conditions and increased demand with 47% of entrepreneurs reporting higher demand, drove this improvement. Sentiment strengthened in the agriculture and construction sectors. A Presidential Decree on September 5, 2025, aimed at simplifying business processes also contributed to the rise. The economic environment was supportive due to annual inflation easing to 8% and business inflation expectations falling to 11.7%. Uzbekistan's record low business confidence was 22 points in May 2020 and record high was 69 points in January 2021.
