Uzbekistan Poverty Rate

Uzbekistan's poverty rate fell to 4.1% in 2023, down from 4.4% in 2022, according to World Bank. This represents a decrease of 0.3% from the previous year. Uzbekistan has poverty rate higher than the global median (4.10% vs median 1.90%). Compared with the median in Asia, Uzbekistan is higher (4.10% vs regional median 2.00%) and ranks 11th out of 30 countries in Asia.

Uzbekistan's annual unemployment rate rose to 4.49% in 2024, up from 4.46% in 2023.
