Venezuela Interest Rate
Venezuela's interest rate fell to 58.95% in September 2025 from 59.06% in August 2025. This is the lowest rate since February 2024. Inflation slowed to 0.8% in September 2024 from 1.4% in August 2024. The Central Bank of Venezuela is anchoring the exchange rate and managing spending to control inflation. GDP grew 7.7% in the first half of 2025, driven by oil production. However, 2025 inflation is expected to reach 275% and currency devaluation persists. Venezuela's record low interest rate was 19.54% in February 2016 and record high was 59.39% in February 2025.
