Reduced fears of rising unemployment and greater optimism about personal finances drove this change. Belgium's record low consumer confidence was -27 points in September 2022 and record high was 8 points in June 2021.

Belgium Consumer Confidence : Definition
Belgium consumer confidence measures household optimism regarding the Belgian economy and their personal financial situation. The National Bank of Belgium calculates it from survey results asking consumers about their expectations for economic trends, their financial position, unemployment and savings. The indicator represents the balance between positive and negative responses.
