Slovenia Balance of Trade
Slovenia's balance of trade was €177 million in August 2025. This represents a 63.3% decrease from €482 million in July 2025. The year-on-year change shows a 132.1% improvement from August 2024, when the trade deficit was €551.76 million. The monthly decline was driven by a €280 million decrease in manufactured goods exports and a €25 million increase in energy imports. Slovenia's record low balance of trade was -€3.18 billion in October 2024 and record high was €2.08 billion in February 2025.

Slovenia Balance of Trade : Definition
Slovenia's balance of trade is the difference between the value of goods it exports and imports, measured in EUR. It is calculated by subtracting the total value of imports from the total value of exports. A positive balance shows a trade surplus while a negative balance indicates a trade deficit.
