Slovenia Business Confidence
Slovenia's business confidence rose to -5 points in September 2025, its highest since February 2023, from -6 points in August 2025. This 16.7% month-over-month increase was driven by better manufacturing expectations for production and selling prices. Stocks of finished goods recovered but order books stayed weak. Broader economic sentiment improved across manufacturing, construction and retail trade. Consumer sentiment also gained, offsetting a small decline in services. This trend supports subdued economic growth in Slovenia, led by private consumption. Export sectors face continued difficulties. Slovenia's record low business confidence was -39 points in April 2020 and record high was 13 points in October 2017.
