Slovenia Inflation Rate
Slovenia's annual inflation rate decreased to 2.6% in September 2025, reaching a three-month low. This is a decrease from the 3% inflation recorded in August 2025. The moderation is partly due to the expected fading impact of earlier excise duty increases. Consumer prices also declined monthly, driven by lower package holiday and accommodation costs despite seasonal increases in clothing prices. Slovenia's record low inflation rate was -1.2% in April 2020 and record high was 11% in July 2022.

Slovenia Inflation Rate : Definition
Slovenia's inflation rate measures the general increase in prices for goods and services within the country. It is calculated using the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), comparing the cost of a representative basket of goods and services over time. The annual rate shows the percentage change in the HICP index compared to the previous year. Slovenia uses the Euro, aligning its HICP calculation with Eurostat standards.
