South Korea Consumer Confidence
South Korea's consumer confidence in September 2025 fell to 110 points, the lowest in three months. This is a 0.9% decrease from August's 111 points. The decline is linked to worries about an export slowdown from new US tariffs and the construction sector slump. Consumer sentiment about future domestic economic conditions also decreased slightly. The index remains above 100, indicating more optimists than pessimists. South Korea's record low consumer confidence was 72.5 points in April 2020 and record high was 143 points in July 2025.
