Tanzania Core Inflation Rate
Tanzania's core inflation rate increased to 2.2% in September 2025. This is the highest rate in five months, up from 2% in August 2025. The rise was driven by sustained price increases for household equipment, specifically electronics and car accessories and non-alcoholic beverages. Tanzania's record low core inflation rate was 1.3% in December 2017 and its record high was 4.7% in November 2021.
