Canada Manufacturing PMI

Canada's Manufacturing PMI fell to 47.7 in September 2025 from 48.3 in August 2025. This 1.2% decrease shows a worsening contraction in factory activity. Tariffs between the US and Canada weakened demand and impacted new orders and output. The uncertain trade environment is a key factor. Canada's record low Manufacturing PMI was 45.3 in April 2025 and record high was 52.4 in February 2023.
