Chile Core Inflation Rate
Chile's core inflation rate fell to 3.36% in September 2025. This is down from 3.42% in August 2025 and is the lowest rate since July 2024. The decrease was caused by slower price growth in transportation and housing services. The Chilean peso's stronger value also reduced imported inflation. Lower demand within Chile also helped reduce inflation. Chile's record low core inflation rate was 1.78% in September 2017 and record high was 10.88% in August 2022.
