Chile's Quarter-over-Quarter GDP growth rate slowed to 0.4% in Q2 2025 from 0.7% in Q1 2025. This deceleration was driven by a 1.3% contraction in exports and a 2.0% decline in public spending, contrasting with Q1's 2.5% export growth and 8.9% public spending surge. Private consumption growth also eased to 0.9% from 1.1%. The mining sector's performance contributed to the slowdown. Chile's record low GDP growth rate was -12.6% in Q2 2020 and record high was 6.8% in Q4 2020.
