Hungary Inflation Rate
Hungary's inflation rate held steady at 4.3% in September 2025, unchanged from August 2025. This stability resulted from price restriction measures which the National Bank of Hungary estimated reduced inflation by 1.5 percentage points in August. Core inflation also remained constant at 3.9% year-over-year in September. Services inflation accelerated to nearly 6% annually, becoming a key driver of overall inflation. Hungary's record low inflation was -0.4% in September 2015 and record high was 25.7% in January 2023.
