Mexico Consumer Confidence
Mexico's consumer confidence fell by 0.4% in September 2025, decreasing to 46.5 points from 46.7 points in August 2025. This decline is attributed to concerns about job security and household purchasing power. The trend aligns with a broader economic slowdown, marked by reduced industrial output in July and a contraction in private consumption and investment by June. Foreign trade, public safety and market uncertainty pose risks to near-term GDP growth. Mexico's record low consumer confidence was 28.6 points in January 2017 and record high was 49.2 points in October 2024.
