Taiwan's happiness index rose to 6.67 points in 2024, up from 6.5 points in 2023, according to The World Happiness Report 2025. This represents an increase of 2.6% (0.17) from the previous year. Taiwan has happiness index higher than the global median (6.67 points vs median 5.82 points). Compared with the median in Asia, Taiwan is higher (6.67 points vs regional median 5.49 points) and ranks 3rd out of 45 countries in Asia.
